Started putting myself out there “for real” post-pandemic in summer 2021 and was fortunate to be picked up by an agent that fall, and get to work with representation in 2022.
As of early 2024, it’s been 110 Auditions, 29 Callbacks and 21 Bookings (including four direct offers) on various television and commercial projects, while still doing volunteer short film competitions when I can. Those competitions really gave me the motivational boost (along with some awards and nominations) that got me into acting in the first place — Big shout out to the Toronto 48HFP!
Where’s it going from here? I don’t know, but every audition is a step forward and every role booked adds momentum and experience. I’m looking forward to what comes next!
